Passwords and confirm-before-redirect

Open a link’s advanced settings. The Access tab is the first tab. Enter a password, or leave the field blank to keep the current one. Save access stores a salted PBKDF2 hash. ug.uy does not keep the password itself. The card says whether a password is already set.

Remove password clears the hash. The button sends an empty password to the link.

Ask visitors to confirm the destination shows a warning step before the redirect. Forward the short-link query string passes the query from the short URL to the destination.

Password, the confirm step, and query forwarding are available on Pro and above. The API returns: “Password and redirect warnings are available on Pro and above.”
