Welcome to ug.uy ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our URL shortening service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

ug.uy provides URL shortening services, link management, analytics, QR code generation, and related features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use ug.uy for:

• Illegal activities or content that violates any laws
• Phishing, malware, viruses, or malicious content
• Spam, unsolicited marketing, or abusive content
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory content
• Adult content or pornography
• Weapons, drugs, or other prohibited goods/services
• Circumventing security measures or hacking

We reserve the right to remove any links violating these terms and terminate accounts without notice.

5. Subscription and Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing and Plans

We offer the following subscription plans:

• Free: $0/month - 15 links, basic features
• Pro: $6/month or $60/year - 500 links, advanced features
• Business: $20/month or $200/year - Unlimited links, all features
• Enterprise: Custom pricing - Contact us for details

5.2 Billing

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Yearly plans are billed annually in advance
• Monthly plans are billed monthly in advance
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated

5.3 Cancellation

• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period
• No partial refunds for unused time (see Refund Policy for exceptions)
• After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan

5.4 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will retry the charge. You have a 7-day grace period to update your payment method. During this period, your service continues uninterrupted. After 7 days, if payment is not successful, your subscription will be downgraded to the Free plan.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of ug.uy are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of ug.uy is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to the collection and use of information as detailed in the Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ug.uy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the service
• Any content obtained from the service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. Continued use of ug.uy after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ug.uy operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
