Terms of service

The service

ug.uy shortens URLs and provides the dashboard tools described on the features page: links, QR codes, analytics, bio pages, digital cards, pixels, UTM templates, schedules, A/B tests, smart rules, teams, and an HTTP API on plans that include it. We can change or withdraw a feature. Plan limits in the app control what your account can do.

Accounts

You are responsible for the email and password on the account, for links created with it, and for API keys minted for it. Anonymous links created on the homepage without an account expire 30 days after creation by default.

Acceptable use

The acceptable use page is part of these terms. We may remove links, suspend branded hosts, and close accounts that break it.

Plans

Public plans, in USD:

• Free: $0. 5 link creates per day, 5 QR codes, no custom slugs, no API.
• Pro: $9 per month or $90 per year.
• Developer: $19 per month or $190 per year. Includes API access.
• Agency: $49 per month or $490 per year. Includes API access, exports, and a team of 5.
• Enterprise: custom price. Includes API access, exports, and team seats that are not capped in the catalog.

A legacy Business plan may still be billed for older accounts. It is not on the public pricing page. Feature counts are in Help → Plans and limits. Prices can change for later billing periods. We will not change the price of a period you have already paid.

Billing

• Paid plans are billed by Stripe in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew until you cancel.
• Cancel from Dashboard → Billing. Access to the paid plan continues until the end of the period you already paid. The account then returns to Free limits.
• Refunds follow the refund policy. Eligible charges can be refunded within 14 days.

Branded hosts

Pro and Developer include 1 host. Agency includes 10. Enterprise includes 25. A name under ug.uy and a domain you own each count as one host. You are responsible for every destination that host serves. We do not pre-clear trademarks. A host can be suspended for abuse or impersonation.

Names under ug.uy can be reclaimed. If you leave a plan that includes hosts, hosts are suspended and stop resolving. If you resubscribe within 30 days, they are restored. After 30 days, ug.uy names are released and domains you own are disconnected. Deleting the account removes branded hosts. Certificates for domains you own are issued through Cloudflare. Sign-in, the dashboard, and the API stay on ug.uy.

Your content

You keep rights in the destinations and text you submit. You give ug.uy permission to store that material and to redirect visitors to it for as long as the link exists. The ug.uy name, interface, and software stay ours. Do not copy the product to offer a competing service.

Privacy

The privacy policy describes what is collected. AI assists send destination URLs, and Ask sends aggregate analytics counts, as that policy describes.

Availability

The service is provided as available. We do not promise a specific uptime percentage. We are not liable for lost clicks, lost profits, or indirect damages, to the extent the law allows. Where a limit is required, liability for a paid account in a given month is limited to the fees you paid us for that month.

Changes

We can update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. Continuing to use ug.uy after that date means you accept the update. If a change is not acceptable, cancel and stop using the service.
